Fixing The Future

Introducing the Domingo fermenter at the Fixing The Future event at Barcelona’s Design Museum, a three days event of panel discussions, debates, workshops and performances that brought together 25 future-shaping projects from across the world.

For this special event, I developed an interactive video showing the activity of micro-organisms in glass petri dish plates. It shows the growth of mycelium and the fermentation process over time. Video made with Processing, using photos of mycelium taken by myself at regular intervals. Petri plates displayed on screen.
